Artemis Woodward is part of hypnotherapy's new generation.  She bonds a fresh, creative approach with proven technique. Introduced to hypnosis in 2003, she embarked on a course of self-study which culminated in a mentorship with the renowned, Steve G. Jones and, ultimately, with her certification as a clinical hypnotherapist in July of 2006.
While attending the University of Massachusetts, Ms. Woodward studied psychology, the arts and humanities and participated in competitive athletics. On hiatus, she parlayed her athletic experience and knowledge of fitness and nutrition into her work as a personal trainer. Upon arrival on the West Coast, she used her writing skills to gain entrance into the world of film and television. Behind the scenes (and, sometimes, in front of the camera) she eventually worked her way up the industry ladder. In 2001 Artemis left entertainment production to assist in caring for her mother who was diagnosed with a terminal, smoking-related illness. Her interest in clinical hypnotherapy grew, in part, from this experience. Always striving to expand her knowledge, Ms. Woodward focused her studies during this time in the areas of relationships, life coaching and human sexuality. She began providing therapeutic sessions for couples and individuals in 2004.
Today, Artemis Woodward is a certified clinical hypnotherapist and member of the American Alliance of Hypnotists. She currently runs a successful practice and is one of hypnotherapy's rising stars. An expert in relationships, sexuality, fitness and lifestyles, she is regularly called upon to share her skills via private sessions, teaching and speaking engagements. Her hobbies include travel, writing, music and the arts. She is an accomplished musician as well as a published author. She furthers her training through extensive self-study, classes and seminars and looks forward to completing her master's degree in psychology in her free time.
